Dear Fredericton Golf Club members,
Golf Canada along with Golf NB has just introduced an enhanced benefits program for their members. I am pleased to advise that these changes will take place for the 2019 golf season for Fredericton Golf Club members who are upgraded to the new Golf Canada Gold program.
Here are the highlights of the program:
- Golf Canada Incident Protection – this new member benefit offers every Golf Canada Gold Member up to $6,000 worth of reimbursement protection related to golf. This includes up to $2,500 towards the costs incurred in replacing lost, stolen, or damaged golf equipment; up to $2,500 towards damaged golf carts; and up to $1,000 reimbursement for any broken windows on the course from errant golf shots.
- The Golf Canada Equipment Identification & Retrieval System – provides identification labels for your golf equipment tied to a smartphone notification system that will help reunite you with your lost equipment no matter what golf course you are playing.
- Official Golf Canada Handicap Factor – Golf Canada Gold Members receive an internationally recognized official Handicap Factor as well as access to state of the art digital features on the Golf Canada Score Centre. Use your official Handicap Factor to participate in national, provincial, regional and club events!
- Rules Education – Golf Canada Gold Members receive free access to Level 1 of Golf Canada’s online Rules of Golf education platform.
- The Great Canadian East/West contest – Golf Canada Gold Members will be entered into a draw to win a golf trip to either eastern or western Canada at one of the finest golf courses in the country. For every score posted, golfers will receive an additional entry into the contest.
- Membership Kit – Golf Canada Gold members receive an individualized welcome package including a member card, bag tag, equipment ID labels and a guide outlining the benefits of membership.
- Discounts – every Golf Canada Gold Member is entitled to discounts on Golf Canada merchandise as well as preferred access to events such as the RBC Canadian Open and CP Women’s Open.
